Bats are amazing creatures that play important roles in the health and ecological functioning of our natural world and economy. Although we may not always see them, bats are hard at work all around the world each night – eating tons of insects, pollinating flowers, and spreading seeds that grow new plants and trees. Humans are linked with bats many ways through our lifestyles- myths- beliefs- tradition-cultures.

At Batlife conservation initiative, southwest, Nigeria, we are committed to the conservation of bats and other small mammals within the different landscapes and landuse types. We organize ecological surveys, bat pest control, EIAs, conservation  trainings and workshops, conservation education and outreaches both n rural and urban areas

To all those risking their lives to ensure conservation of bat taxa, nature is  grateful for all your efforts
